   Mr. Rubio introduced the following bill; which was read twice and 
               referred to the Committee on the Judiciary

 To require the Secretary of Homeland Security to designate Haiti for 
                      temporary protected status.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. DESIGNATION OF HAITI FOR TEMPORARY PROTECTED STATUS.

    Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Secretary of 
Homeland Security shall designate Haiti for temporary protected status 
for a period of 18 months beginning on July 22, 2019.
