Bill Summary

This bill, proposed by the Senate and House of Representatives, aims to rename a Department of Veterans Affairs community-based outpatient clinic in Middleburg, Florida to the "A.K. Baker VA Clinic." This name change will be reflected in all official documents and references to the clinic.

Possible Impacts

1. This legislation allows for the renaming of a Department of Veterans Affairs outpatient clinic, which could affect the patients who rely on this clinic for their healthcare. They may have to adjust to a new name and identity for the clinic, which could cause confusion and discomfort.
2. The legislation also requires that all references to the clinic in any law, regulation, or document must now use the new name, which could affect government employees and officials who work with these documents. They may have to make changes to official papers and systems to reflect the new name.
3. The naming of the clinic after a specific individual, A.K. Baker, could also affect the family and loved ones of this person. They may feel honored and proud to have their loved one's name associated with the clinic, but they may also face increased attention and scrutiny.
