'Rabbit' Kennedy Post Office Building Bill", seeks to officially designate a facility of the United States Postal Service located at 215 1st Avenue in Amory, Mississippi as the "Command Sergeant Major Lawrence E. 'Rabbit' Kennedy Post Office Building". This name change would apply to all references to the facility in any laws, maps, regulations, documents, or records of the United States. The purpose of this legislation is to honor Command Sergeant Major Lawrence E. 'Rabbit' Kennedy and his contributions to the community.

Possible Impacts

1. This legislation could honor the legacy of Command Sergeant Major Lawrence E. "Rabbit" Kennedy and his contributions to the military by permanently naming a post office building after him. This could bring a sense of pride and recognition to his family, friends, and fellow service members.
2. The designation of the post office building could also bring attention and recognition to the town of Amory, Mississippi, where the facility is located. This could potentially boost tourism and bring in more business to the area.
3. The legislation could also have financial implications, as it may require the post office to change its address and update any documents or materials that reference the old address. This could incur costs for the post office and potentially affect their budget.
