Possible Impacts

Here are three examples of how the resolution regarding the Select Committee on the Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party could affect people:

1. **Impact on Government Employment**: The resolution allocates over $10 million for expenses, including staff salaries for the Select Committee. This funding could lead to the hiring of additional staff, creating job opportunities for individuals skilled in research, policy analysis, and administration within the government. This could positively impact those seeking employment in public service and contribute to the economy.

2. **Influence on U.S.-China Relations**: The establishment and funding of this Select Committee indicate a heightened focus on strategic competition with China. This could affect various sectors such as trade, technology, and foreign policy.
