Bill Summary

This legislation sets a limit on the amount of funds that can be used for the Related Agencies and National Labor Relations Board's salaries and expenses for the fiscal year 2024. It specifies that the maximum amount that can be appropriated or used for this purpose is $274,224,000 and this limit overrides any other provisions in the law. This legislation is being enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in the United States of America.

Possible Impacts

1. Employment Rights: This legislation could potentially affect the rights of employees who are involved in labor disputes or conflicts with their employers. With a limitation on the funds available for the National Labor Relations Board, employees may have less support and resources to exercise their rights and protect their interests.

2. Government Spending and Budgeting: This legislation could impact the overall budget and spending of the government. By limiting the funds available for the National Labor Relations Board, the government is setting a cap on the amount of money that can be allocated for specific purposes, which can have ripple effects on other areas of government spending.

3. Labor Relations and Disputes: This legislation may have direct implications for labor relations and disputes between employers and employees. With a limitation on the funds available for the National Labor Relations Board, there may be fewer resources and support for resolving conflicts and disputes, potentially leading to more adversarial and contentious relationships between employers and employees.
