Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. LAND CONVEYANCE, ARMY RESERVE FACILITY, BELLEVILLE, ILLINOIS. (a) Conveyance Authorized.--As soon as practicable after the date of enactment of this Act and after completion of the survey and appraisal described in this section, the Secretary of the Army, acting through the Chief of Engineers, shall convey to the Municipality of Belleville, Illinois, by quitclaim deed for the consideration described in subsection (c), all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to a parcel of real property described in subsection (b). (b) Property Described.-- (1) In general.--The parcel to be conveyed under subsection (a) consists of approximately 5.2 acres and improvements located at 500 South Belt East in Belleville, Illinois, that is administered by the Department of the Army. (2) Survey required.--As soon as practicable after the date of enactment of this Act, the exact acreage and legal description of the real property to be conveyed under subsection (a) shall be determined by a survey that is satisfactory to the Chief of Engineers. (c) Consideration.-- (1) In general.--In exchange for the conveyance of the parcel of real property described in subsection (b), the Municipality of Belleville, Illinois, shall to pay to the Chief of Engineers nominal consideration. (2) Deposit.--Any cash payment received by the United States under paragraph (1) shall be deposited in the special account in the Treasury referred to in subparagraph (A) of paragraph (5) of subsection (b) of section 572 of title 40, United States Code, and shall be available in accordance with subparagraph (B) of such paragraph. (d) Costs of Conveyance.--The Municipality of Belleville, Illinois, shall be responsible for paying-- (1) the costs of the survey conducted under subsection (b)(2); and (2) any other costs relating to the conveyance of the parcel of real property under this section. (e) Additional Terms and Conditions.--The Chief of Engineers may establish such additional terms and conditions with respect to the conveyance under this section as the Chief of Engineers considers to be appropriate to protect the interests of the United States. <all>
