Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``State And Local Tax Deduction Fairness Act of 2019''. SEC. 2. REPEAL OF LIMITATION ON DEDUCTION FOR CERTAIN STATE, LOCAL, AND FOREIGN TAXES. (a) In General.--Section 164(b) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 is amended by striking paragraph (6). (b) Effective Date.--The amendment made by this section shall apply to taxable years beginning after December 31, 2016. <all>
